Shining Star Bear (Pam Fitch) will speak
about the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers,
Laughing Fox (Jacob Fitch) will play his
flutes, and we will be showing the movie,
"For the Next Seven Generations." $5.00

Discussion and music at 6:00, movie at 7:00 pm.
Raffle tickets will be sold for a hand-made Native American flute and a hand-made quilt.

Meet Dave Bradshaw at the Merging Hearts parking area at 9:00 am. We’ll carpool to the Bedford
Reservation, a Cleveland Metropark, where we will see the Great Falls and do
a short hike to another magnificent waterfall. We’ll have a breathtaking view of
Tinker’s Creek 150 feet below the trail. The hike will include a nature meditation.
Be sure to bring a bottle of water, pack a light lunch and wear shoes or hiking
boots that will give good support and traction for the downstream hike. A hiking stick would be useful but not necessary.

I plan to go rain or shine – but not in severe thunderstorms or tornados How about you? After all, waterfalls are at their best during and after rain.$10.00

GORGE PARK HIKE  Saturday, May 15, 2010

Meet Dave Bradshaw at the Merging Hearts parking area at 9:00 am. We’ll carpool to Gorge Park in Cuyahoga Falls, where we will see fascinating, colorful rock formations, a cave and a tall waterfall. We’ll see the Cuyahoga River as it flows over a dam and cascades on downstream. The hike will include a nature meditation.

Be sure to bring a bottle of water, pack a light lunch and wear shoes or hiking boots that will give good support and traction for the downstream hike. A hiking stick would be useful but not necessary.

We’ll go rain or shine – but not in severe thunderstorms or tornados.

NO FEE! Just bring a couple of dollars to help your driver with gas money.

 We’ll be back at Merging Hearts by 2:30 PM at the latest.
